The Fox Chapel District Association is a community-sponsored organization that supports Fox Chapel, Aspinwall, O’Hara, Sharpsburg, Blawnox, Indiana, and Harmar. The FCDA plans and implements projects to enhance and beautify the community but which are not taxpayer funded. The FCDA Board is comprised of 21 of your friends and neighbors from the communities serviced by the association who serve three-year terms. The FCDA is committed to enhancing the quality of life in this area that we call home.-

A new and very exciting development is underway to transform eight acres of the Aspinwall Marina along Freeport Road. The proposed plan for the Riverfront project includes a working marina, restaurant, trails, park and recreation areas. Together we can revitalize this property into a beautiful community setting.  The Fox Chapel District Association donated $50,000 towards the purchase price.  Isn’t quite ours yet ...BUT we’re excited to let you know that thanks to a $200,000 donation from Highmark, we are are now able to proceed with the purchase! We are still waiting for $350,000 in state funding. Even if we don’t get it, we will be able to borrow money to buy this beautiful piece of riverfront to preserve it for generations to come. We still need your donations — especially if you’ve pledged money for this phase of the project! $2.3 million only buys us the property. We’ll need even more to build the park and trails we’ve all been dreaming about. - Thank You!
